#1 of 9 hotels in Council Bluffs Casinos by Axel's take. Council Bluffs Casinos is #4 of 7 places to stay in Omaha. The best hotels in Council Bluffs Casinos, ranked · Where to stay in Omaha
Axel's take: 8.5/10
A strong budget stop for clean rooms, friendly service and an easy Omaha drive. A no-frills 2-star hotel in Council Bluffs, near Omaha, scored for what it is.
BridgePointe is a no-frills 2-star in Council Bluffs, not downtown Omaha, and we'd put it firmly on the shortlist for a budget stay with a car. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful front-desk staff and an included breakfast with hot options. Room refrigerators and microwaves add practical value, and free parking makes it an easy road-trip base. It's good bang for your buck rather than a hotel to build your vacation around.
The trade-offs are an older building, compact bathrooms and surroundings better suited to driving than strolling. Some guests mention plumbing or neighboring-room noise, although many describe quiet nights. There is no elevator, so request a ground-floor room if stairs are difficult and confirm specific accessibility needs directly. We'd skip it for a walkable downtown break or a polished, full-service experience.
-
Best for: Road-trippers on a budget; Omaha visitors with a car; Short casino or concert stays
-
Watch out for: No elevator; confirm accessibility; Car-oriented location outside downtown Omaha; Some reports of room and plumbing noise
-
Location: Council Bluffs near I-29, Harrah's and Stir Cove; a practical driving base for Omaha.
-
Rooms: Simple rooms with refrigerators and microwaves; guests note some updates, but bathrooms can feel cramped.
-
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews.
-
Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are among the most consistently praised features.
-
Amenities: Included hot breakfast, free parking, Wi-Fi and guest laundry; nearby casinos are separate properties.
-
Fees and surprises: Pet and early/late check-in or checkout fees apply; confirm pet cleaning charges before booking.
