#9 of 9 hotels in Council Bluffs Casinos by Axel's take. Council Bluffs Casinos is #4 of 7 places to stay in Omaha. The best hotels in Council Bluffs Casinos, ranked · Where to stay in Omaha

Axel's take: 7.2/10

A practical budget stop with generous breakfasts, but uneven upkeep a budget all-suite hotel off I-29 in Council Bluffs, scored for what it is.

This budget all-suite hotel is in Council Bluffs, Iowa, rather than Omaha proper. We'd consider it for a short, car-based stay: suites offer extra sitting space, microwaves and refrigerators, while breakfast and parking are included. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the breakfast selection and friendly staff. The interstate location also makes it practical for casino visits and trips across the river into Omaha.

The catch is inconsistent upkeep. Expedia lists a 2024 room renovation, yet recent guests still describe worn fixtures, musty smells and occasional cleaning shortcomings alongside plenty of clean, comfortable stays. Several August and September 2026 reviews report the hot tub out of service; confirm repairs before counting on it. It's a reasonable budget base, not a polished retreat. We'd skip it if dependable leisure facilities or consistently fresh surroundings are priorities.

  • Best for: road-trippers with a car; budget-conscious families needing extra space; casino and Omaha visits

  • Watch out for: hot tub repeatedly reported out of service; uneven maintenance and housekeeping; not in downtown Omaha

  • Location: Off I-29 in Council Bluffs, convenient by car for nearby casinos and Omaha attractions.

  • Rooms: Suites have sitting areas, microwaves and refrigerators; reported comfort is stronger than consistency of upkeep.

  • Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, but recent odor and cleaning complaints prevent an unqualified endorsement.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn repeated praise, although problem handling is not uniformly smooth.

  • Amenities: Free breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking, plus an indoor pool and gym; verify hot-tub availability.

  • Fees and surprises: Pets incur an extra charge; early check-in and late checkout may also cost extra.
