Free parking helps, but recurring cleanliness and maintenance problems make this hard to recommend.
Old Mill Inn is an aging budget 3-star in west Omaha, better suited geographically to drivers than downtown sightseeing. Free parking and included breakfast are useful basics, and some Expedia guests praise comfortable beds and helpful staff. But we'd generally skip it: recent reports suggest it too often misses even budget-hotel expectations for cleanliness and working fixtures.
Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly describe stained furnishings, unpleasant smells and neglected repairs during 2025–2026; several also report doors that did not lock properly. The advertised indoor pool was reported closed or drained by multiple guests in May–June 2026, so don't book assuming swimming is available. Breakfast and front-desk coverage are inconsistent, and a deposit plus pet charges can complicate an otherwise simple stopover. We'd look elsewhere for families, longer stays or a dependable overnight.

Cleanliness: Recent cross-site complaints about odors, stained linens and dirty furnishings are the main concern.
Service: Some staff earn praise, but guests also describe unattended reception and poor problem handling.
