Vincci Marítimo is a modern 4-star in Diagonal Mar, and we'd choose it for a Barcelona trip mixing beach time with sightseeing or CCIB meetings. Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable rooms and helpful staff; breakfast also earns strong feedback. Hosteltur reported the completed room refurbishment in April 2026, and recent guests describe fresh interiors. The Japanese garden and terrace are welcome extras.
The main compromise is location: this quieter, less characterful district isn't the Barcelona of winding old-town streets. Selva de Mar metro is a short walk away, but central sightseeing usually means a journey. The beach is roughly 10–15 minutes on foot, not outside the door.
