An exceptional family base with generous space and genuinely helpful service.
Casagrand is a luxury serviced-apartment property, not a conventional five-star hotel, and it makes a particularly strong case for families and groups. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise the unusually spacious apartments, comfortable beds, cleanliness and helpful staff; Booking.com ratings reinforce that picture. Proper kitchens make longer stays practical, while the location near Passeig de Gràcia puts restaurants, shops and the metro within easy reach.
The trade-offs are mostly about expectations: the rooftop pool is a plunge pool, not somewhere to swim lengths, and the official site lists concierge hours rather than round-the-clock coverage. Breakfast costs extra, and the sauna requires advance booking and an additional charge. We'd choose it for apartment independence with attentive support; skip it if a large pool and full-service hotel atmosphere are priorities.
