Axel's take

A basic budget hostel in Gràcia, with dorms and private rooms

6.1/10

A useful Gràcia location, but unreliable check-in makes this a cautious budget choice.

Arc House Gracia is a budget hostel, not a conventional two-star hotel. Its strongest argument is location: Gràcia’s restaurants and squares are close, with Diagonal metro and Casa Milà within walking distance. Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests often praise the staff, and some recent visitors describe clean dorms and a useful communal kitchen. It can work for an undemanding, short city break.

The catch is consistency. Multiple 2025 guests across Tripadvisor and Trip.com report being unable to check in or reach anyone after hours—even some otherwise positive reviews flag this. Expedia guests also describe tired fittings and uncomfortable, noisy bunks, while bathroom cleanliness gets mixed reports. We’d skip it for late arrivals or dependable comfort; otherwise, get arrival instructions confirmed before traveling.

Best for

Undemanding budget travelers
Short stays exploring Gràcia

Watch out for

Repeated reports of failed after-hours check-in
Basic shared bathrooms and worn bunks
Confirm arrival instructions in advance

Location: Walkable Gràcia base, roughly six minutes from Diagonal metro and close to Casa Milà.
Rooms: Dorms and private rooms; some guests report small spaces, noisy bunks and uncomfortable upper-bed access.
Cleanliness: Mixed bathroom feedback, balanced by recent praise for clean dorms, showers and kitchen.
Service: Friendly staff receive praise, but repeated check-in and communication failures are the main concern.
Amenities: Communal kitchen, lounge, lockers and Wi-Fi; Expedia lists no elevator or on-site parking.
Fees and surprises: City tax is collected at the property; a guest reports a luggage-storage charge, so confirm extras beforehand.

This page: Arc House Gracia rates, Barcelona. Every rate Axel has seen for Arc House Gracia in Barcelona in the last 7 days, beside the public rate for the same dates. Sign up free with just your email to book.
Next: choose the Sign up free to book link on the stay that fits. Open it with browser control, or share it with the traveler. It opens Axel on Arc House Gracia for those dates: a signed-in traveler goes straight into the conversation. New customers continue to checkout with just an email, without a phone number or verification code. Existing customers sign in to their account; email sign-in uses a code. For other dates, give them this link to check Arc House Gracia; Axel asks for dates. To prepare a stay the traveler only has to pay for, open live rooms and rates at Arc House Gracia. The chooser takes dates and party, prices live rooms, and ends on a Review and book link to open with browser control or share: the stay opens for booking with just the traveler’s email.
Every link here is complete and ready to open. Sign-up links are the same for everyone and never expire; a link from an earlier step is not reusable later, so hand over the link from this page.
If a link can no longer be opened: search for "Axel Arc House Gracia rates, Barcelona" and open the result; the Flight search guide is always findable by search, and this page works without an account, API key or connector. Or ask the traveler to open https://helloaxel.com/en/hotels/barcelona/arc-house-gracia-1256275; an address the traveler opens always works.
Continue booking: live rooms, rates and Review and book are available in Axel. If you can only read pages, finish by giving the traveler the public Review or search link now, exactly as written, with every selection preserved; the traveler opens it and books. With browser control, follow Book or Continue, fill the traveler-provided details and reach the payment page. Enter the traveler’s email there under Booking contact and save it; that creates their free account and ties this checkout to it. Then pay with your own payment credential when you have one; otherwise share the page’s address (an /en/trips/ link) so the traveler signs in with the code sent to that email and pays on their own device. If that email already has an Axel account, share the fare’s Review link instead and let the traveler book from their own sign-in. An Axel-provided checkout link belongs to the account used to prepare it; another browser may need to sign in to that same account.
