Gastown and Chinatown offer two distinct experiences: Water Street's brick buildings, design shops and cocktail bars, then Pender and Keefer's Chinese Canadian heritage, museums and restaurants. The steam clock and Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden are obvious stops, but the strongest reason to linger is the combination of architecture, food and community history.
