Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong downtown pick for comfortable rooms, helpful staff and easy event access. a modern 3-star hotel near Omaha’s ballpark and arena, scored for what it is.

Cambria is a modern 3-star hotel that gets the important things right: comfortable rooms, generally strong cleanliness and a handy location near Charles Schwab Field and CHI Health Center. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the staff and beds, with recent reviews keeping that positive picture intact. We'd put it high on the list for baseball, concerts or Creighton visits. An indoor pool, gym, restaurant and free airport shuttle make it useful beyond event nights, too.

The trade-offs are mostly practical: parking costs extra, and breakfast isn't automatically included. A smaller number of recent guests describe missed housekeeping or room-maintenance issues, so consistency isn't flawless. Confirm shuttle arrangements directly, especially for unusual flight times. We'd skip it if included breakfast and parking are priorities; otherwise, it's a well-rounded choice for its class.

• Best for: baseball and concert trips; Creighton visitors; travelers using the airport shuttle

• Watch out for: paid parking; breakfast usually costs extra; occasional housekeeping and maintenance lapses

• Location: Convenient for the ballpark, CHI Health Center and Creighton; less central to the Old Market.

• Rooms: Modern, comfortable rooms with microwaves and refrigerators; occasional repair complaints.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest feedback, with some exceptions involving detailed cleaning and housekeeping.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength across booking sites.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and complimentary airport shuttle.

• Fees and surprises: Parking, most breakfasts and pet stays carry charges; confirm shuttle pickup arrangements.
