#4 of 4 hotels in Paxtonia & Linglestown Road by Axel's take. Paxtonia & Linglestown Road is #8 of 8 places to stay in Harrisburg. The best hotels in Paxtonia & Linglestown Road, ranked · Where to stay in Harrisburg

Axel's take: 6.8/10

Useful roadside value, but housekeeping and upkeep are too inconsistent for an easy recommendation. A no-frills budget chain hotel off I-81, scored for what it is.

This is a no-frills budget chain hotel off I-81, best treated as a practical overnight stop rather than a Hershey vacation highlight. Free breakfast, parking and an indoor pool make the package appealing. Recent Expedia guests and Booking.com reviews reproduced by GetaroomTonight praise comfortable beds, spacious rooms and helpful staff. We'd consider it for a short, budget-minded stay with a car.

The catch is consistency. Expedia's recent feedback is largely upbeat, while Tripadvisor guests describe housekeeping lapses, maintenance problems and uneven service. Pool and hot-tub experiences also vary, so don't make them the reason you book. This can deliver decent value, but we'd skip it if dependable cleanliness, polished surroundings or a relaxing pool-focused family stay matter most.

Best for: Budget-minded road-trippers; Short stays with a car; Travelers prioritizing included basics
Watch out for: Uneven housekeeping and room upkeep; Variable pool and hot-tub experiences; Guests report strict no-visitor rules
Location: Convenient off I-81; Harrisburg and Hershey attractions require a drive.
Rooms: Comfortable beds and spacious suites earn praise, but worn fittings and maintenance issues recur.
Cleanliness: Many recent Expedia guests report clean rooms; Tripadvisor shows meaningful housekeeping inconsistencies.
Service: Helpful staff receive frequent praise, although complaint handling draws criticism on Tripadvisor.
Amenities: Breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi are included; indoor pool, hot tub and fitness room are advertised.
Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a deposit and pet charges; Tripadvisor guests report a strict registered-guests-only policy. Confirm before booking.
