#2 of 6 hotels in Union Deposit Road by Axel's take. Union Deposit Road is #3 of 8 places to stay in Harrisburg. The best hotels in Union Deposit Road, ranked · Where to stay in Harrisburg

Axel's take: 9.0/10

An excellent mid-range base, provided you choose your room carefully. A full-service 3-star conference hotel outside downtown Harrisburg, scored for what it is.

This full-service 3-star conference hotel is a strong pick for families and drivers exploring Harrisburg and Hershey. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise exceptionally clean rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. The large heated indoor pool and O’Reilly’s restaurant give it more substance than a basic overnight stop, while free parking adds practical value. For its class, it delivers unusually well.

Room placement is the main catch: guests on several sites describe noisy pool-facing rooms, and some report highway noise in exterior rooms. Light sleepers should discuss a quieter location before booking; the pool stays open until 10 p.m. Breakfast costs extra, and this is a driving base rather than a downtown walking location. We’d skip it for a car-free city break, but shortlist it for family trips and conferences.

Best for: Families visiting Hersheypark; Conference and event guests; Road-trippers with a car
Watch out for: Pool-facing and some highway-facing rooms can be noisy; Breakfast costs extra; Car recommended for sightseeing
Location: Convenient highway access for regional trips, but outside walkable downtown Harrisburg.
Rooms: Spacious, well-equipped rooms with microwaves and refrigerators; request a quieter room location.
Cleanliness: A standout strength, with repeated recent praise across Tripadvisor and Expedia.
Service: Guests consistently describe welcoming, helpful staff and efficient check-in.
Amenities: Heated indoor pool, 24-hour gym, game room, restaurant and complimentary prearranged transport to the airport and stations.
Fees and surprises: Free parking and Wi-Fi; breakfast and dog stays cost extra, and an incidental card hold applies.
