#4 of 6 hotels in Union Deposit Road by Axel's take. Union Deposit Road is #3 of 8 places to stay in Harrisburg. The best hotels in Union Deposit Road, ranked · Where to stay in Harrisburg

Axel's take: 7.3/10

A practical overnight stop, but room upkeep needs more consistency. A no-frills budget chain hotel for Harrisburg and Hershey road trips, scored for what it is.

This budget Comfort Inn is a reasonable pick for a short, car-based visit to Harrisburg or Hershey. Comfortable beds, included hot breakfast and free parking are its strongest selling points, with refrigerators and microwaves adding everyday convenience. Recent Expedia guests frequently praise friendly staff and clean rooms, though Booking.com's substantially lower overall rating makes this a qualified recommendation rather than a sure thing.

The main compromise is inconsistent upkeep. Expedia and Trip.com reviews repeatedly describe worn finishes, bathroom maintenance problems and uneven housekeeping, alongside plenty of satisfactory stays. Breakfast earns praise but also complaints about replenishment. The pool is small, seasonal and outdoors—not an indoor swimming option. We'd consider it for a practical overnight stop, but skip it if spotless bathrooms, polished rooms or dependable swimming facilities are priorities.

Best for: Road-trippers stopping overnight; Budget-conscious visitors with a car; Short Harrisburg and Hershey visits
Watch out for: Worn rooms and recurring bathroom maintenance complaints; Housekeeping and breakfast replenishment vary; Small seasonal outdoor pool; no indoor pool
Location: Convenient for driving between Harrisburg and Hershey, with dining nearby; not a walk-to-the-attractions base.
Rooms: Comfortable beds, refrigerators and microwaves; worn finishes and bathroom repairs recur in reviews.
Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, but recent reviews also flag missed cleaning and bathroom grime.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff receive frequent praise, with occasional complaints about responsiveness.
Amenities: Free hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking, gym and laundry; the small pool is seasonal and outdoors.
Fees and surprises: Breakfast and self-parking are included; pets are not accepted, except service animals.
