Axel's take: 8.1/10

A practical suite stay with friendly staff, but request a quiet room. A renovated 3-star extended-stay hotel in suburban Briargate, scored for what it is.

This 3-star extended-stay hotel is a strong pick for families and longer visits to northern Colorado Springs. A renovation completed in 2025 refreshed the property, while suites with kitchens, free breakfast and free parking make it practical for everyday use. Recent Expedia and Google guests repeatedly praise clean rooms and welcoming staff. Shops and restaurants across the street are another useful advantage.

The trade-offs are noise and some inconsistency around breakfast and housekeeping. Tripadvisor guests mention interstate noise, while recent Expedia reviews flag loud appliances and occasional breakfast replenishment or temperature problems. Ask for a room away from I-25 and the gym. The outdoor pool is seasonal, listed as open May through September—not a year-round indoor option. We'd skip it for a car-free downtown break or if dependable winter swimming matters.

• Best for: Families wanting kitchen-equipped suites; Longer business stays; Air Force Academy visitors with a car

• Watch out for: Interstate and appliance noise; Occasional breakfast and housekeeping lapses; Outdoor pool is seasonal

• Location: Suburban Briargate near I-25, with shopping and restaurants across the street; a car helps for sightseeing.

• Rooms: Kitchen-equipped suites refreshed in 2025; request a quieter position away from the interstate and gym.

• Cleanliness: Recent reviews are predominantly positive, though some guests report missed cleaning details.

• Service: Friendly, attentive staff are a recurring strength across Expedia and Google reviews.

• Amenities: Free breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking, plus a gym, guest laundry and seasonal outdoor pool.

• Fees and surprises: Pets incur a nonrefundable fee; confirm sofa-bed arrangements directly if extra sleeping space is essential.
