Axel's take: 7.2/10

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff, but current facility closures limit the appeal. a mid-range Marriott business hotel in south Colorado Springs, scored for what it is.

This mid-range Marriott business hotel is a good fit for travelers driving around south Colorado Springs, with comfortable rooms and a generally helpful front desk. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise cleanliness and staff, and the location works for Broadmoor-area visits and World Arena events. We'd consider it for a straightforward overnight rather than a hotel-centered getaway.

The biggest catch is current: Marriott says the Bistro, indoor pool and meeting spaces are temporarily closed, despite still advertising them elsewhere on its website. Confirm reopening before booking if any matters to your stay. Parking costs extra, breakfast isn't complimentary, and housekeeping is scheduled every other day; an August 2026 Tripadvisor guest reported missed service even over three nights. We'd skip it for a pool-focused family trip or a walkable downtown stay.

• Best for: business travelers with a car; Broadmoor-area visitors; short stays in south Colorado Springs

• Watch out for: Bistro, indoor pool and meeting spaces temporarily closed; paid parking and no complimentary breakfast; every-other-day housekeeping

• Location: Useful for World Arena and Broadmoor-area visits; better with a car than as a downtown walking base.

• Rooms: Recent guests generally describe comfortable rooms; Marriott advertises renovated accommodations with workspaces.

• Cleanliness: Recent feedback is mostly positive, though room-servicing lapses still appear.

• Service: Friendly, accommodating front-desk staff are a recurring strength across review sites.

• Amenities: Fitness center advertised; the official closure notice currently includes the Bistro, indoor pool and meeting spaces.

• Fees and surprises: On-site parking carries a daily charge, breakfast is not complimentary, and housekeeping is every other day.
