Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Hyde Park, Green Park and the nearby Tube make it a practical sightseeing base, while Theo Randall’s Italian restaurant and the well-liked Club lounge add appeal.
The immediate catch is construction: Booking.com lists fifth- and sixth-floor bedroom renovations from October 5, 2026, through June 19, 2027, with two of four guest lifts affected. Expedia says work takes place during business hours. Entry-level rooms are compact for this class, and there’s no pool despite the spa.
