Axel's take: 7.9/10
A good short-stay base with helpful staff, but genuinely tiny rooms. A compact, no-frills 3-star near Earl’s Court, scored for what it is.
Point A Kensington Olympia is a compact, no-frills 3-star near Earl’s Court: a good pick for exploring London rather than spending much time in your room. Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The shared lounges give you somewhere to spread out, and the continental breakfast earns plenty of positive mentions. We’d choose it for a short, light-luggage city break.
The recurring drawback is space: some doubles have a bed against the wall, little storage and barely enough room to open luggage. Windowless rooms are a distinct booking category, so check carefully. There’s no in-room kettle, the hotel schedules a full clean after three nights, and luggage storage costs extra. We’d skip it for a longer stay or if two people need proper unpacking space.
