7.0/10
Residential side streets offer a calmer return; avoid assuming busy Bloor and pub-focused blocks will feel the same.

Yorkville and the Annex offer two versions of a Bloor Street stay: designer shops and polished dining around Bay and Avenue Road, then bookshops, casual restaurants and residential streets farther west. The Royal Ontario Museum, Bata Shoe Museum, Koerner Hall and University of Toronto make this our best museum-and-neighbourhood pairing.
