This large, full-service five-star is a strong pick for travelers who want comfort and easy sightseeing rather than boutique intimacy. Marriott describes a major 2026 transformation, and summer guest reviews confirm refreshed rooms and public spaces. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise comfortable beds, cleanliness and genuinely helpful staff. Central Station and Gamla Stan are an easy walk away; a lake-view room adds something distinctly Stockholm to an otherwise international-chain stay.
