A strong family resort where the pools outshine the beach. An upscale 5-star all-inclusive resort geared toward families, scored for what it is.

Paradisus is an upscale, family-focused all-inclusive that earns its keep through spacious rooms, engaging children’s activities and genuinely attentive staff. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness, pool service and Kidsdom team. We'd pick it for an easy holiday with young children, especially if swimming pools and entertainment matter more than ocean swimming. Family Concierge adds a quieter pool, exclusive dining and personalized attention, with recent guests often calling the upgrade worthwhile.

The main compromise is the beach: seasonal sargassum can make swimming impractical, and guests also describe rocks underfoot. Rooms are comfortable rather than uniformly pristine, with some reports of cosmetic wear. All-inclusive doesn't mean everything: spa treatments and Sal Steak Cave can cost extra, while some facilities require Family Concierge access. We'd skip it for a quiet couples’ escape or a beach-first vacation.
