This upscale 4-star is two different stays: Downtown House puts you beside Fifth Avenue’s nightlife, while Beach House sits on the shore a short walk away. We'd pick it for exploring Playa on foot, spacious rooms and the downtown rooftop infinity pool—not for a secluded resort holiday. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff; access to both properties adds flexibility.

The main compromise is noise. Downtown club music can continue into the early morning, and Beach House is not immune to neighboring bars or daytime DJs. Guests also report occasional maintenance and service hiccups, while rocky water entry and seaweed can disappoint beach swimmers. Budget for a daily resort fee and paid parking.
