#9 of 9 hotels in Nai Yang & the Airport by Axel's take. Nai Yang & the Airport is #9 of 12 places to stay in Phuket. The best hotels in Nai Yang & the Airport, ranked · Where to stay in Phuket

Axel's take: 8.0/10

A good beach-and-airport base, with spacious bungalows but uneven polish. A relaxed 4-star bungalow resort across the road from Nai Yang Beach, scored for what it is.

Naiyang Park Resort is a relaxed 4-star bungalow resort, not a polished luxury hotel. We'd pick it for a beach break or a comfortable start or finish to a Phuket trip. Its garden setting, generously sized rooms and large outdoor pool give it more appeal than a typical airport stopover. Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the space, beach proximity and convenient airport access; cleanliness feedback is broadly positive.

The compromises are dated fittings, occasional damp or musty rooms, and inconsistent breakfast and reception experiences. Construction needs checking: Expedia currently flags neighboring building work, and a July 2026 guest reported major resort renovations. The free airport shuttle is listed as running only from 7am to 7pm, so early flights need another arrangement. We'd skip it for guaranteed quiet during building work or contemporary four-star polish; for relaxed beach time and airport convenience, it's a good fit.

Best for: Beach stays before or after a flight; Couples wanting a leafy bungalow setting; Families prioritizing room space and a pool
Watch out for: Resort renovations and neighboring construction; Some damp or musty rooms; Limited airport-shuttle hours
Location: Beach across the road, restaurants within walking distance, and a short drive to Phuket Airport.
Rooms: Spacious bungalow-style rooms with large bathrooms; some share walls, and fittings can feel dated.
Cleanliness: Generally positive across booking sites, though several guests mention dampness or musty smells.
Service: Friendly staff receive plenty of praise, but reception and problem handling are less consistent.
Amenities: Outdoor pool, children's pool area, gym and dining; Booking.com guests rate Wi-Fi relatively poorly.
Fees and surprises: Confirm construction status, breakfast inclusion and extra-bed charges; free shuttle listed for 7am–7pm only.
