#7 of 9 hotels in Council Bluffs Casinos by Axel's take. Council Bluffs Casinos is #4 of 7 places to stay in Omaha. The best hotels in Council Bluffs Casinos, ranked · Where to stay in Omaha
Axel's take: 7.8/10
A practical budget stop with friendly staff, but genuinely small rooms. a no-frills 2-star hotel in Council Bluffs near I-80 and I-29, scored for what it is.
This is a no-frills 2-star in Council Bluffs, not downtown Omaha, and we'd pick it for a straightforward overnight or an event at Mid-America Center. Booking.com and Expedia guests generally praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Free breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi make it good value for travelers with a car; an indoor pool and fitness center add useful extras.
The main compromise is space: standard rooms are genuinely compact, and guests on several sites mention it. Noise can carry from neighboring rooms and hallways, while recent reviews describe some scuffed walls and aging fixtures despite Expedia listing a 2023 remodel. Cleanliness feedback is mostly positive, though not uniform. We'd skip it for a spacious, polished stay or a walkable Omaha city break; for a short budget stop, it delivers.
-

-
