Axel's take: 6.2/10

Airport convenience helps, but inconsistent cleaning makes this a cautious overnight choice. a basic 3-star airport hotel in Carter Lake, scored for what it is.

This basic 3-star in Carter Lake is better suited to an airport overnight than a downtown Omaha getaway. The free airport shuttle, breakfast and parking during your stay are useful, and Expedia guests often praise helpful employees and comfortable rooms. We'd consider it for a short, practical stop, but Booking.com's 6.1 and Expedia's 6.8 overall ratings point to an uneven experience rather than dependable value.

The main concern is housekeeping: Tripadvisor guests repeatedly describe dirty bathrooms, musty smells and worn fixtures, with another detailed cleaning complaint on Expedia in July 2026. Positive recent stays show those problems aren't universal, but they're too persistent to dismiss. Pool and hot-tub availability is unclear, so confirm directly rather than relying on photos; shuttle hours also differ between listings. We'd skip it if consistent cleanliness or a pool-centered family stay matters most.

• Best for: short airport stopovers; travelers prioritizing a free airport shuttle

• Watch out for: recurring cleaning and maintenance complaints; unconfirmed pool and hot-tub availability; conflicting published shuttle hours

• Location: Near Eppley Airfield in Carter Lake, not in downtown Omaha; a car is useful for sightseeing.

• Rooms: Microwaves and refrigerators are listed, but guests report uneven upkeep and worn bathroom fixtures.

• Cleanliness: Some recent guests praise clean rooms; repeated detailed complaints make consistency the chief concern.

• Service: Helpful staff receive frequent praise, although Tripadvisor guests also report waits at an unattended desk.

• Amenities: Breakfast, Wi-Fi, gym and airport shuttle are listed; confirm pool, hot-tub and shuttle availability directly.

• Fees and surprises: Parking during the stay is free; extended parking and pets incur charges.
