Mermaid Inn is a basic oceanfront motel, and we'd consider it only if beach access matters more than dependable room standards. The location is its clearest strength: guests consistently praise being steps from the sand. Free parking, a seasonal outdoor pool, and rooms with microwaves and refrigerators cover the practical basics. Some recent Expedia guests report clean, comfortable stays, but the experience is uneven.
