Hotels in Myrtle Beacha 3-star beachfront condo resort on Myrtle Beach’s boardwalk
7.3/10
Go for the beachfront location, not polished rooms or speedy elevators.
Bay View is a 3-star beachfront condo resort whose strongest selling point is its boardwalk address. It’s a good pick for families who prioritize beach access, walkable entertainment and kitchen-equipped accommodation over fresh interiors. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the ocean views and friendly staff, and plenty report clean rooms. Indoor pools, a lazy river and an on-site Starbucks add practical vacation appeal.
The trade-offs are recurring: dated furniture, uneven housekeeping and long elevator waits during busy periods. Guests also describe the pools and lazy river as smaller than expected. Check the exact room category: standard rooms don’t offer the same cooking facilities or space as condos, and ocean-view isn’t oceanfront. Parking involves a walk to a separate garage, while the hotel lists nightly resort and housekeeping fees. We’d skip it for a quiet, consistently polished stay.
