Hotels in Myrtle BeachA mid-range condo-and-villa resort on Myrtle Beach’s north end
7.5/10
Good family space and resort amenities, but your assigned condo matters.
Kingston Plantation is a sprawling, mid-range condo-and-villa resort, not a conventional Embassy Suites hotel. It’s a good pick for families who want separate bedrooms, cooking space and plenty to do without leaving the grounds. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests praise spacious units, beach access and the pools; Hilton lists Currents waterpark and 78Fitness access in the resort charge. Choose your accommodation carefully: oceanfront towers and wooded villas offer very different beach walks.
The weakness is consistency. Alongside happy guests, Tripadvisor reviews describe worn interiors and cleaning lapses, so don’t assume uniform Hilton hotel standards. Resort charges and separate parking fees also deserve attention. North Beach Vacations lists South Hampton corridor remodeling scheduled from October 2026 for about seven months; confirm building-specific disruption before booking. We’d skip it for predictable hotel-style accommodation, but consider it for a family stay after checking the exact unit and location.
