Hotels in Myrtle BeachA straightforward 3-star beachfront resort on the Boardwalk
8.1/10
A strong Boardwalk base if location and pools matter more than polished rooms.
Holiday Pavilion is a straightforward 3-star beachfront resort beside the SkyWheel, and we'd pick it for an easy, park-the-car beach break. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the walkable location, friendly staff and generally clean rooms. Balconies and kitchen-equipped room options add practical appeal, while indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river and a poolside bar give families plenty to enjoy without leaving the property.
The trade-off is aging accommodation: dated furnishings and occasional maintenance complaints recur, even among otherwise positive reviews. Boardwalk activity can bring noise, and guests report no elevator in the low-rise building, so confirm your building before booking if stairs are difficult. Housekeeping is light daily, with full service on the fourth day. We'd skip it for a quiet retreat or consistently modern rooms.
