This is a simple, select-service Fairfield, not a beachfront resort. We'd consider it for a short, attraction-focused stay: Broadway at the Beach is within walking distance, and complimentary breakfast and parking make the practical side easy. Booking.com and Expedia ratings remain strong, with guests repeatedly praising helpful staff and clean rooms.

Room condition is the reservation. Several 2025–2026 Tripadvisor guests describe worn furnishings, dampness and musty smells; an August 2026 Expedia guest also reports a mold-like odor, although many others praise cleanliness. Marriott currently marks the outdoor pool closed, so don't book expecting to swim without confirming reopening. The ocean is about a mile away, and a recent guest reports the advertised beach shuttle wasn't available. We'd skip it for a pool-centered vacation or if musty rooms would be a dealbreaker.
