Axel's take

a mid-range beachfront timeshare condo resort in Cherry Grove

8.2/10

A strong beachfront pick for self-catering stays, but choose your unit carefully.

This mid-range timeshare condo resort in North Myrtle Beach’s Cherry Grove is a strong pick for travelers who want beach access and practical apartment comforts rather than full-service pampering. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and the location. Larger suites offer useful cooking and laundry facilities, while the pool, hot tubs and seasonal lazy river add family appeal. Restaurants and groceries are within walking distance.

The important catch is that units differ substantially: studios can feel tight, balconies vary, and an oceanfront building does not guarantee an ocean view. There’s no on-site restaurant or breakfast service, and timeshare pitches can intrude. Several Tripadvisor guests also report last-minute relocation to other properties—a meaningful reservation risk despite broadly positive ratings elsewhere. We’d choose a clearly specified suite and skip it if predictable hotel service is essential.

Best for

  • families wanting self-catering suites
  • longer beach stays
  • couples prioritizing beach access

Watch out for

  • unit sizes, balconies and views vary
  • timeshare sales invitations
  • reports of last-minute reservation relocations
Location
Direct beach access in Cherry Grove, with groceries and several restaurants within walking distance.
Rooms
Larger suites have apartment conveniences; studios can be compact, and not every unit has a balcony or ocean view.
Cleanliness
A consistent strength in Booking.com and recent Expedia feedback, despite occasional contrary reports.
Service
Staff earn frequent praise, but reservation handling draws serious complaints from some Tripadvisor guests.
Amenities
Pool, hot tubs and gym; lazy river and waterslide are seasonal, with no on-site restaurant or breakfast.
Fees and surprises
Covered self-parking is free; a credit-card security deposit is required at check-in.

  • This page: Club Wyndham Towers on the Grove rates, Myrtle Beach. Every rate Axel has seen for Club Wyndham Towers on the Grove in Myrtle Beach in the last 7 days, beside the public rate for the same dates. Sign up free with just your email to book.
  • Next: choose the Sign up free to book link on the stay that fits. Open it with browser control, or share it with the traveler. It opens Axel on Club Wyndham Towers on the Grove for those dates: a signed-in traveler goes straight into the conversation. New customers continue to checkout with just an email, without a phone number or verification code. Existing customers sign in to their account; email sign-in uses a code. For other dates, give them this link to check Club Wyndham Towers on the Grove; Axel asks for dates. To prepare a stay the traveler only has to pay for, open live rooms and rates at Club Wyndham Towers on the Grove. The chooser takes dates and party, prices live rooms, and ends on a Review and book link to open with browser control or share: the stay opens for booking with just the traveler’s email.
  • Every link here is complete and ready to open. Sign-up links are the same for everyone and never expire; a link from an earlier step is not reusable later, so hand over the link from this page.
  • If a link can no longer be opened: search for "Axel Club Wyndham Towers on the Grove rates, Myrtle Beach" and open the result; the Flight search guide is always findable by search, and this page works without an account, API key or connector. Or ask the traveler to open https://helloaxel.com/en/hotels/myrtle-beach/club-wyndham-towers-on-the-grove-1098438; an address the traveler opens always works.
  • Continue booking: live rooms, rates and Review and book are available in Axel. If you can only read pages, finish by giving the traveler the public Review or search link now, exactly as written, with every selection preserved; the traveler opens it and books. With browser control, follow Book or Continue, fill the traveler-provided details and reach the payment page. Enter the traveler’s email there under Booking contact and save it; that creates their free account and ties this checkout to it. Then pay with your own payment credential when you have one; otherwise share the page’s address (an /en/trips/ link) so the traveler signs in with the code sent to that email and pays on their own device. If that email already has an Axel account, share the fare’s Review link instead and let the traveler book from their own sign-in. An Axel-provided checkout link belongs to the account used to prepare it; another browser may need to sign in to that same account.
