Axel's take: 7.5/10

A practical self-catering base, let down by uneven housekeeping and room upkeep. a budget aparthotel near Olympiapark with in-room kitchens, scored for what it is.

This budget aparthotel near Olympiapark is a good fit if you want a kitchen and easy U-Bahn access rather than a central Munich address. Studios and family apartments make self-catering straightforward, and recent guests repeatedly praise the helpful reception team. Booking.com and Expedia ratings are broadly positive: we'd consider it for a longer work trip or a family visit where practicality matters more than polish.

The catch is consistency. Recent Accor and Expedia guests describe weak air-conditioning, worn furnishings and cleaning lapses, including shower mould, alongside plenty of clean, comfortable stays. Don't expect daily housekeeping: weekly cleaning is included only for stays of eight nights or more, with shorter-stay cleaning costing extra. We'd skip it if spotless bathrooms, full hotel service or walking straight into the old town are priorities.

• Best for: budget-conscious self-caterers; families wanting kitchen facilities; longer work trips

• Watch out for: uneven cleaning and bathroom upkeep; weak air-conditioning reported; no included daily housekeeping

• Location: A short walk to Oberwiesenfeld U-Bahn; practical for Olympiapark, but not an old-town base.

• Rooms: Functional studios and family apartments with kitchens; some guests report wear and weak temperature control.

• Cleanliness: Many positive reports, but recent complaints about missed cleaning and shower mould recur across sites.

• Service: Helpful, friendly reception staff are one of the most consistent positives.

• Amenities: Kitchen facilities, free Wi-Fi, a fitness room and guest laundry; breakfast is available for a charge.

• Fees and surprises: Parking, breakfast and extra cleaning cost more; a damage deposit applies, so confirm payment and release terms.
