Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong beachfront choice for spacious suites and warm service, with all-inclusive caveats. An upscale, family-friendly beachfront suite resort with optional all-inclusive dining, scored for what it is.

Villa del Arco is an upscale, family-friendly suite resort on Médano Beach, and a strong pick for travelers who want room to spread out without being far from Cabo’s restaurants. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, clean surroundings and attentive poolside service. Larger suites add kitchens and separate living space, making this particularly practical for families rather than just couples seeking a beach escape.

The main catch is that all-inclusive does not mean everything: the hotel excludes premium dishes, selected drinks and spa facilities, while room-service charges also apply. Confirm that your reservation actually includes the meal plan, since room-only stays are sold too. Guests also mention timeshare sales pressure. We’d skip it if you want an adults-only atmosphere or an all-inclusive stay without exclusions to track.

• Best for: Families wanting spacious suites; Couples balancing beach time and town visits; Travelers who value attentive resort service

• Watch out for: All-inclusive exclusions and room-service charges; Timeshare sales approaches; Room-only and all-inclusive bookings both available

• Location: On Médano Beach, with downtown Cabo and the marina within easy reach.

• Rooms: Studios and larger suites have balconies or terraces; larger categories offer kitchens and separate living areas.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength in recent Expedia feedback, with particularly strong cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Warm restaurant, bell and pool teams earn repeated praise; some guests report timeshare sales pressure.

• Amenities: Pools, beachfront hot tubs, a fitness center and spa support relaxed, family-friendly stays.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm meal-plan inclusion; premium food and drinks, spa access and room service can cost extra.
