Axel's take: 8.0/10

A strong family pick for spacious suites and friendly service, but not ocean swimming. An upscale, family-friendly all-suite beach resort with all-inclusive dining, scored for what it is.

Dreams Los Cabos is an upscale, all-suite all-inclusive that works best for families who prefer pool days to exploring town. Its strongest assets are generous rooms, ocean views and personable staff: Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the poolside teams and children’s club. Cleanliness generally earns good marks, too. We’d choose it for an easy family break rather than expect flawless luxury.

The beach is for scenery, not swimming, and dining is less consistent than the resort’s gourmet billing suggests. Recent guests describe repetitive buffets, uneven restaurant availability and occasional waits. Some rooms show their age, although others have been refreshed. An October 2026 Tripadvisor reviewer also reported construction above their suite starting at 7 a.m.; confirm whether work affects your room before booking. Skip it if swimmable beachfront or reliably polished dining is essential.

• Best for: Families with younger children; Pool-focused vacations; Travelers wanting spacious suites

• Watch out for: Beach unsuitable for swimming; Uneven dining and restaurant availability; Recent report of early-morning construction

• Location: Beachfront on the corridor between the two Cabos; plan transportation for town outings.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with balconies or terraces; guest reports suggest condition varies by room.

• Cleanliness: Generally well rated across Expedia and Tripadvisor, with occasional housekeeping lapses.

• Service: Friendly poolside and restaurant staff are a recurring strength; coordination can be less consistent.

• Amenities: Heated pools, children’s club, gym and spa; golf is nearby, not an included on-site course.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers, golf and spa treatments cost extra; confirm construction and restaurant schedules.
