The Cape is a design-led five-star beachfront resort, and a strong pick for couples who want excellent dining and a social atmosphere rather than sprawling resort grounds. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise attentive staff, spotless rooms and ocean-facing balconies. Views toward El Arco, two outdoor pools and Manta restaurant give it substance beyond the looks; the rooftop adds a ready-made evening out.

The main compromise is noise: Tripadvisor and Reddit guests report pool music and rooftop or wedding bass reaching bedrooms late into the evening. Food and drinks are expensive even by resort standards, and downtown requires a ride. The rough ocean frontage is better for watching surfers than casual swimming.
