Axel's take: 8.5/10

A strong beachfront pick for partygoers, but quiet luxury isn't the point. a luxury adults-only beachfront party resort, scored for what it is.

ME Cabo is a luxury adults-only party resort on Médano Beach, and we'd pick it for a social Cabo trip rather than a restful escape. Its beachfront setting, Arch views and access to downtown are genuine strengths. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the staff and cleanliness, while contemporary rooms with balconies give it substance beyond the beach-club scene.

The defining trade-off is Taboo Beach Club: Meliá advertises daily DJs, and guests across sites describe pounding music, especially on weekends, sometimes audible inside rooms into the evening. Recent Expedia reviews also question the expensive food and drinks, despite otherwise positive stays. Bali beds cost extra, so don't assume every poolside setup is included. It's a strong fit for celebrations and beach-club days; we'd skip it for early nights, quiet afternoons or all-inclusive simplicity.

• Best for: friends celebrating together; couples who enjoy beach clubs; adults wanting beach and downtown access

• Watch out for: loud DJs and weekend events; expensive food and drinks; extra-charge Bali beds

• Location: Directly on Médano Beach, with Arch views and downtown restaurants within walking distance.

• Rooms: Contemporary rooms with balconies; ocean-view categories appeal, but music can penetrate indoors.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor and verified Expedia guest feedback.

• Service: Staff receive strong praise overall, though some recent guests question luxury-level value.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, Taboo Beach Club, multiple dining venues, gym and paid spa treatments.

• Fees and surprises: Bali beds carry an extra charge; Expedia lists a local tourism tax and optional breakfast charges.
