Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong pick for ocean views and villa space, less so for beach swimming. a quiet 4-star clifftop vacation-club resort with condo-style villas, scored for what it is.

Sirena del Mar is a quiet 4-star vacation-club resort, and we'd pick it for a relaxed, self-catering Cabo stay rather than a full-service luxury escape. Villas have kitchens, laundry and balconies; the two ocean-facing infinity pools are the main attraction. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean accommodation and helpful staff, while Booking.com feedback reinforces the appeal of the views and comfortable rooms.

The trade-offs are practical: downtown requires a ride, the small rocky cove has stair access and isn't a dependable swimming beach, and on-site dining draws mixed reviews for value. Hyatt also lists a daily resort fee. Tripadvisor guests reported Building 1 renovations in May 2026; completion wasn't confirmed, so check before booking. It's a strong fit for families and quiet couples, but we'd skip it for walkable nightlife or an easy beach holiday.

• Best for: families wanting kitchens and laundry; couples seeking quiet ocean views; longer, self-catering stays

• Watch out for: rocky cove reached by stairs; rides needed for downtown; resort fee and renovation-status check

• Location: Secluded Cabo Bello clifftop setting; better for views and downtime than walking to town.

• Rooms: Condo-style villas with kitchens, laundry and balconies; some repeat guests say interiors need updating.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent Expedia feedback and Booking.com category ratings.

• Service: Recent guests frequently praise friendly, helpful staff.

• Amenities: Two infinity pools, a swim-up bar, restaurant, gym and spa services; not an all-inclusive resort.

• Fees and surprises: Hyatt lists a daily resort fee; Building 1 renovations were reported in May 2026, with completion unconfirmed.
