Grand Velas Los Cabos is an ultra-luxury, family-friendly all-inclusive that largely earns its premium positioning. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise thoughtful concierge service, meticulous housekeeping and dining that goes beyond standard resort fare. Spacious ocean-view suites with private terraces, three infinity pools and well-liked kids’ and teens’ clubs make it a particularly strong pick for multigenerational trips. We'd choose it for an easy, well-fed vacation spent mostly on property.

The biggest compromise is the beach: swimming directly in front of the resort is prohibited because of strong currents and unpredictable waves. Dinner reservations also deserve advance planning; some guests report frustrating availability, and restaurant schedules vary. Spa treatments and airport transfers cost extra. We'd skip it if ocean swimming, walkable town life or an entirely adults-only atmosphere matters more than polished resort convenience.
