The Palms is a simple 3-star guesthouse in historic houses, not a beachfront resort. It’s a strong pick for travelers who prefer neighborhood character to a conventional hotel: a pool heated seasonally, included continental breakfast and on-site bicycle rentals make a useful package. Booking.com and Expedia guests broadly praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Duval Street is roughly a 15–20-minute walk away.

The trade-offs are old-building ones: some rooms are small, and noise carries, including around the pool.
