Hotels in Kansas Citya full-service 4-star convention hotel in downtown Kansas City
8.1/10
A strong downtown base, with friendly staff and some aging-room compromises.
This full-service 4-star is a strong pick for conventions and downtown events, rather than a hotel to build a special occasion around. The convention center is steps away, with Power & Light and T-Mobile Center within walking distance. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. A restaurant, lobby bar and coffee shop make short business stays straightforward.
The trade-off is uneven polish: recent Expedia reviews and Tripadvisor feedback flag dated rooms, compact bathrooms and occasional maintenance misses, although positive stays clearly dominate. Parking and breakfast generally cost extra. The rooftop pool is outdoor and seasonal—not an indoor, year-round amenity. We'd choose it for convenience and dependable basics; skip it if freshly finished rooms or winter swimming are priorities.
