Axel's take: 8.4/10

A strong airport stopover with helpful staff, good breakfast and a few maintenance caveats. a straightforward, limited-service airport hotel, scored for what it is.

This straightforward, limited-service airport hotel is a strong pick before an early flight or after a late arrival. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, welcoming staff and the convenient airport shuttle, which the hotel advertises as operating around the clock. Included hot breakfast gets unusually enthusiastic feedback for this class, while an outdoor pool and gym add useful extras. We'd choose it for a practical overnight rather than a Fresno vacation base.

The main caveats are inconsistent upkeep and connectivity: some recent Tripadvisor guests report air-conditioning or plumbing problems, and slow Wi-Fi comes up more than once. Those complaints sit alongside much stronger overall feedback, not a broadly poor cleanliness record. Dining within walking distance is limited, and parking now carries a nightly charge. We'd skip it if dependable work Wi-Fi or plenty of nearby restaurants is essential.

• Best for: early departures and late arrivals; short business stopovers; road-trippers breaking their journey

• Watch out for: nightly parking charge; reports of slow Wi-Fi and maintenance issues; limited walkable dining

• Location: Minutes from Fresno Yosemite International Airport; convenient for flights, less useful for walkable dining.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and generous space earn praise; some recent guests flag air-conditioning and plumbing faults.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across major sites, with a minority of recent housekeeping complaints.

• Service: Friendly front-desk and shuttle staff are among the most consistent strengths.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, free 24-hour airport shuttle, outdoor pool, gym and guest laundry.

• Fees and surprises: Official policy lists paid parking, pet charges and an incidental hold; do not assume catalog-listed free parking.
