Worth considering for a cheap stopover, but room condition is a gamble. a no-frills 2-star motel in North Fort Myers, scored for what it is.

Riverview Inn is a no-frills 2-star motel in North Fort Myers, best considered for a budget overnight rather than a vacation stay. Recent Expedia and Hotels.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and convenient parking, with restaurants and shopping nearby. Free Wi-Fi, microwaves and mini-fridges cover the practical basics. It's a workable option if keeping costs down matters more than polish.

The catch is consistency. Alongside those positive reports, 2025–2026 reviews on Trip.com describe worn furnishings, uneven housekeeping, cigarette smells and occasional pests; noise also troubles some guests. Don't count on a pool: recent guests explicitly report none. Upper floors require stairs, and booking sites disagree about pet rules. We'd skip it for a longer holiday or if reliable cleanliness is nonnegotiable.

• Best for: budget travelers making a short stop; drivers prioritizing free parking

• Watch out for: uneven housekeeping and worn rooms; smoke smells and occasional pest reports; stairs to upper-floor rooms

• Location: Near North Shore Park, with restaurants nearby and a short drive to downtown Fort Myers.

• Rooms: Exterior-corridor rooms have microwaves and mini-fridges; guests report variable upkeep and some noisy air conditioners.

• Cleanliness: Many guests praise clean rooms, but repeated recent reports of dirt, smoke smells and pests warrant caution.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn regular praise, though some guests report poor handling of problems.

• Amenities: Free parking and Wi-Fi; no breakfast listed, and recent guests report no pool.

• Fees and surprises: A cash deposit is listed; pet policies conflict across sites, so confirm acceptance, fees and deposits directly.
