Friendly staff and convenient parking, but ongoing renovations make this a conditional pick.
This is a practical 3-star in Midtown, a short drive from Fort Myers’ River District rather than right in its walkable center. We'd consider it for a short, car-based stay: free parking helps, and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff and clean, comfortable rooms. Some recent visitors also report newly upgraded rooms.
The catch is substantial renovation work, still reported in September 2026. Guests describe construction noise, dusty common areas and a closed restaurant; some say breakfast they booked was unavailable. The hotel’s website still advertises dining and a gym, so confirm what is actually operating before committing. Housekeeping is officially limited, too. We'd skip it for a quiet getaway or a stay built around hotel facilities; it makes more sense if you mainly need a convenient place to sleep.

Friendly staff and convenient parking, but ongoing renovations make this a conditional pick. A practical 3-star in Midtown, near downtown Fort Myers, scored for what it is.
Best for: short stays with a car; travelers visiting nearby downtown; guests comfortable with renovation disruption
Watch out for: ongoing renovation noise and dust; reported restaurant closure and unavailable breakfast; limited housekeeping
Location: Midtown near the River District and Edison–Ford estates; a car is useful.
Rooms: Some upgraded rooms earn praise, but condition and comfort remain uneven.
Cleanliness: Many guests praise clean rooms; others report construction dust and cleaning lapses.
Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff are the most consistent strength.
Amenities: Outdoor pool advertised; recent guests report restaurant closure and unavailable gym facilities.
Fees and surprises: Parking is free; pets incur a fee, and breakfast availability needs direct confirmation.
