Axel's take: 9.1/10

A standout practical base, with roomy suites and staff who earn consistent praise. a 3-star all-suite hotel near the airport and FGCU, scored for what it is.

This 3-star all-suite hotel is a strong pick for airport stopovers, FGCU visits and longer family stays. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise clean, spacious suites, welcoming staff and a breakfast that delivers more than the basics. In-room kitchens make longer stays easier, while free parking, an outdoor pool and a complimentary Wednesday social round out a genuinely useful package.

The trade-off is the setting: this is an airport-and-shopping base beside Gulf Coast Town Center, not a beach escape or downtown stay. Expedia lists limited airport-shuttle hours, so confirm arrangements for early departures or late arrivals. Pets also bring a nonrefundable fee. We'd choose it for space and dependable everyday comfort, but skip it if waterfront atmosphere is the point of the trip.

• Best for: families needing kitchen-equipped suites; FGCU visitors; airport stopovers and longer stays

• Watch out for: not a beachfront or downtown location; confirm airport-shuttle hours; nonrefundable pet fee

• Location: Near I-75, Gulf Coast Town Center and FGCU; Hilton puts the airport drive at about 10 minutes.

• Rooms: Kitchen-equipped suites; guests repeatedly praise their space and comfort.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and recent Expedia reviews.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn unusually consistent praise across sources.

• Amenities: Free hot breakfast, outdoor pool, fitness center and complimentary Wednesday evening social.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; pets incur a nonrefundable fee; Expedia lists airport-shuttle hours as 6 a.m.–11 p.m.
