Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong practical base for drivers, with clean rooms and breakfast included. A straightforward limited-service hotel near I-75 and The Forum shopping district, scored for what it is.

This is a straightforward limited-service hotel near I-75, and we'd pick it for a practical Fort Myers stay rather than a resort vacation. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff, while its strong overall ratings support that positive picture. Included breakfast, free parking and a heated outdoor pool make it a good fit for families and travelers who want the basics covered.

The setting favors drivers: nearby shops and restaurants are useful, but this isn't a beach or downtown stay. A recent Agoda guest noted worn furnishings, so expect functional rather than polished rooms. Ask how the incidental deposit works; a recent Tripadvisor guest reported unclear communication. We'd skip it for a car-free holiday or full-service amenities.

• Best for: Families traveling by car; Business travelers near east Fort Myers; I-75 stopovers

• Watch out for: Car recommended for exploring; Occasional furnishing wear; Clarify incidental deposit terms

• Location: Convenient for I-75, shopping and nearby dining; not a beach or downtown location.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds earn frequent praise; furnishings can show some wear.

• Cleanliness: Recent Expedia feedback is strongly positive about room cleanliness.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a recurring strength in recent guest feedback.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, heated outdoor pool, fitness center and free Wi-Fi; no on-site restaurant or complimentary local shuttle.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; confirm incidental deposit and release terms at check-in.
