Axel's take: 8.8/10

A dependable airport stop with standout staff and clean, comfortable rooms. a simple 3-star airport hotel off I-75, scored for what it is.

This simple 3-star airport hotel is a strong pick for an overnight flight connection, road-trip stop or spring-training visit. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise clean, comfortable rooms and genuinely helpful staff, with recent reviews keeping that reputation intact. Free hot breakfast, parking and an airport shuttle make it good value for a straightforward stay; the outdoor pool adds something beyond the basics.

The trade-off is location: Hilton puts the airport six miles away, and this is a practical roadside base rather than a beach destination. Breakfast generally earns praise, though some guests find it ordinary. Drivers should also note that complimentary parking is for registered guests only, not park-and-fly. We'd choose it for convenience and dependable basics, but skip it for a beach-centered vacation.

• Best for: airport overnights; spring-training visitors; road-trippers

• Watch out for: Not on airport grounds; Beaches require a drive; No park-and-fly parking

• Location: Convenient for I-75, nearby restaurants and spring-training venues; Hilton lists RSW six miles away.

• Rooms: Guests commonly describe comfortable beds, spacious rooms and quiet stays.

• Cleanliness: Consistently strong praise across Tripadvisor, Expedia and Hotels.com, including recent reviews.

• Service: Friendly front-desk staff and helpful shuttle drivers are recurring strengths.

• Amenities: Free hot breakfast, Wi-Fi and airport shuttle, plus an outdoor pool and fitness center.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free for registered guests only; no park-and-fly. Pets incur a nonrefundable fee.
