Axel's take: 8.1/10

A strong budget base for baseball and airport stops, with impersonal check-in. a no-frills 2-star near the airport and JetBlue Park, scored for what it is.

This no-frills 2-star is a strong pick for an airport stop or spring-training trip, especially if you're driving. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, while recent Tripadvisor reviews reinforce the friendly-staff theme. Microwaves, mini-fridges, free parking and an outdoor pool make it a practical budget base rather than somewhere to spend your whole vacation.

The compromises are mostly about convenience: virtual kiosk check-in divides guests, and some find it slow or impersonal. Breakfast is included, but reviews across sites describe limited variety rather than a substantial hot spread. Expedia also lists deposits and a restriction on guests living within 70 miles, so check eligibility before booking. We'd skip it for a beach-focused holiday or if a traditional front desk matters.

• Best for: spring-training fans with a car; budget-conscious airport stopovers; short business stays

• Watch out for: virtual kiosk check-in; limited breakfast variety; local-resident restriction and deposits

• Location: Convenient for JetBlue Park, I-75 and the airport; better as a driving base than a beach stay.

• Rooms: Guests commonly praise comfort and space; Wyndham confirms microwaves and mini-fridges.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com and recent Expedia reviews.

• Service: Staff and breakfast attendants earn praise, but virtual check-in gets mixed reactions.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, small gym, free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast and free self-parking; not an indoor-pool hotel.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists deposits, early/late checkout charges and no check-in for residents within 70 miles; confirm directly.
