#4 of 6 hotels in Miramar Beach by Axel's take. Miramar Beach is #4 of 5 places to stay in Destin. The best hotels in Miramar Beach, ranked · Where to stay in Destin

Axel's take: 7.6/10

A practical beach-trip base with friendly staff, compact rooms and few extras. A no-frills budget chain hotel near Miramar Beach, not on the beachfront, scored for what it is.

This is a simple budget chain hotel, not a beachfront resort, and we'd consider it for a short stay rather than a hotel-centered vacation. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms and welcoming staff; Tripadvisor feedback also makes hospitality a strength. Free breakfast and parking, plus in-room microwaves and refrigerators, make it a practical base for exploring Miramar Beach without paying for resort facilities.

The compromises are compact rooms, limited clothes storage and no swimming pool. Breakfast generally satisfies basic expectations, but opinions vary. Air-conditioning and maintenance problems appear in reviews on more than one site, although they don't outweigh the broader positive picture. We'd skip it if you want spacious accommodations, direct beach access or somewhere to spend whole days on property. Check the refundable damage deposit and dog fees before booking.

Best for: Budget-minded beach visitors; Short stays and road trips; Travelers bringing dogs
Watch out for: Compact rooms and limited storage; No pool or direct beach access; Some recurring air-conditioning and maintenance complaints
Location: On Emerald Coast Parkway near beaches, dining and shopping; not beachfront.
Rooms: Microwaves and refrigerators are useful; several guests find rooms cramped.
Cleanliness: Mostly positive recent feedback, rather than a widespread cleanliness problem.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the most consistent cross-site strength.
Amenities: Free breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking, plus a gym; no swimming pool.
Fees and surprises: Booking.com lists a refundable damage deposit; dogs incur fees and restrictions.
