Axel's take: 8.3/10

A comfortable, metro-connected base, with better breakfasts than in-room extras. a modern 4-star conference hotel in Copenhagen’s Nordhavn district, scored for what it is.

This modern 4-star conference hotel in Nordhavn is a strong pick if you’re happy to trade a central address for easy metro access. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise comfortable beds, clean rooms, helpful staff and the generous breakfast buffet. The spacious lobby and coworking areas are useful bonuses, and Orientkaj station makes sightseeing straightforward. We’d choose it for a practical city break rather than a characterful Copenhagen stay.

The main compromise is the room: entry-level Standard Small rooms are just 14 square metres, and guests regularly find the furnishings and storage sparse. Tripadvisor reviews also flag request-based housekeeping and breakfast queues, although overall cleanliness ratings remain strong. Parking costs extra and spaces aren’t guaranteed. Skip it if you want roomy accommodation, automatic daily servicing or the old city outside your door.

• Best for: metro-savvy city breakers; business and conference travelers; couples prioritizing comfort over a central address

• Watch out for: very compact entry-level rooms; housekeeping requires advance requests; breakfast queues at busy times

• Location: Nordhavn setting near Orientkaj metro and harbour buses; central sights require a ride.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and modern bathrooms; Standard Small rooms measure 14 square metres.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest ratings, tempered by recurring reports of missed or incomplete requested cleaning.

• Service: Mostly praised as friendly and helpful, with some uneven problem handling.

• Amenities: Generous breakfast buffet, restaurant, bar, free coworking space and a 24-hour gym.

• Fees and surprises: Paid public parking is not guaranteed; extra beds require advance booking; the hotel lists fees for non-EU-issued cards.
