Axel's take: 8.5/10

A strong family base for space and self-catering, less convenient for doorstep sightseeing. a practical 4-star apartment hotel in residential Østerbro, scored for what it is.

Adina is a practical 4-star apartment hotel in Østerbro, and a strong pick if you want room to spread out rather than a central sightseeing address. One- and two-bedroom apartments have separate living areas, kitchens and washer-dryers; the nearby supermarket makes those facilities genuinely useful. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the space, cleanliness and helpful staff, while the indoor pool, sauna and gym add appeal for families and longer stays.

The main compromise is location: expect a walk to rail and metro connections, and longer outings to the historic centre. Train and traffic noise affect some rooms, so light sleepers should request a courtyard-facing apartment. Some guests also report tired fittings or uneven housekeeping follow-through. Check your room category carefully: studios do not offer the same kitchen setup as apartments. We'd skip it for a short break where walking straight into the action matters most.

• Best for: families wanting apartment space; longer self-catering stays; travelers who prefer a residential base

• Watch out for: walk to rail and metro stations; train and traffic noise in some rooms; studio kitchen facilities differ from apartments

• Location: Residential Østerbro, with groceries nearby; less convenient for immediate access to central sights.

• Rooms: Generously sized apartments with separate living areas and laundry; some guests mention aging fittings.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest feedback, though some Tripadvisor guests report missed housekeeping requests.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength; follow-through is not uniformly reliable.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, sauna, gym and free Wi-Fi; full kitchens and washer-dryers are apartment-category benefits.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and breakfast cost extra unless included; confirm cooking facilities before choosing a studio.
