Axel's take: 6.3/10

Useful for an airport overnight, but renovation and uneven rooms weaken the appeal. a basic 3-star airport hotel undergoing renovation, scored for what it is.

This basic 3-star in Kastrup makes most sense for a single night before a flight, not a Copenhagen city break. The airport is within walking distance, and Kastrup metro is about five minutes away. Expedia guests repeatedly praise breakfast and helpful staff, and some report clean, spacious, refreshed rooms. Still, Booking.com and Expedia’s overall ratings point to a mixed hotel rather than a dependable Best Western Plus experience.

The biggest drawback is active renovation: Best Western schedules work through December 31, 2026, and recent guests describe construction noise and disrupted public areas. Room quality varies between refreshed but sparsely equipped accommodation and worn rooms with odor or cleaning complaints; thin walls and check-in queues also recur. We’d consider it for a practical stopover, but skip it if quiet sleep and consistent room standards matter most.

• Best for: one-night airport stopovers; travelers comfortable using the metro

• Watch out for: renovation through December 2026; uneven room condition and soundproofing; occasional long check-in queues

• Location: Walkable to the airport and roughly five minutes from Kastrup metro; outside central Copenhagen.

• Rooms: Refreshed rooms coexist with worn ones; some recent guests report no television and limited furnishings.

• Cleanliness: Many guests find rooms clean, but recurring odor and housekeeping complaints undermine consistency.

• Service: Helpful staff receive praise, though understaffed reception and slow check-in recur.

• Amenities: Official listings include a gym, restaurant, bar and free Wi-Fi; breakfast is frequently praised.

• Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; check breakfast inclusion and confirm renovation disruption before booking.
