Axel's take: 7.9/10

A practical airport overnight, but you pay for convenience rather than room comforts. a no-frills 3-star airport hotel with covered terminal access, scored for what it is.

Comfort Hotel Copenhagen Airport is a no-frills 3-star that makes most sense before an early flight or after a late arrival. Its covered route to Terminal 3 is the big advantage; airport trains and the metro also make downtown accessible. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the breakfast, comfortable beds and convenient location, while the gym and guest laundry add useful extras.

The trade-off is a fairly bare-bones room: recent guests describe small spaces, limited storage and no kettle or fridge. Several also report rooms running warm. Cleanliness is broadly well rated, despite some sharply negative Tripadvisor reports, so those complaints don't define the overall picture. Allow extra walking time through the neighboring Clarion, check whether breakfast is included, and expect limited dinner choices. We'd choose it for transit convenience, not a leisurely Copenhagen getaway.

• Best for: early departures and late arrivals; overnight layovers; families needing multi-bed rooms

• Watch out for: small rooms with minimal extras; some reports of warm rooms; covered terminal route runs through the Clarion

• Location: Covered access to Terminal 3, with airport rail and metro nearby; not a downtown base.

• Rooms: Simple, generally comfortable rooms; limited storage and recurring complaints about temperature control.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall cleanliness ratings, though a few recent Tripadvisor guests report significant lapses.

• Service: Recent Expedia guests frequently praise helpful staff; self-service check-in and a staffed reception are available.

• Amenities: Gym, guest laundry, family rooms, bar and deli; breakfast earns stronger praise than dinner.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast inclusion varies by booking; parking, pets and some early or late check-in arrangements cost extra.
