#5 of 5 hotels in Ørestad & Bella Center by Axel's take. Ørestad & Bella Center is #6 of 7 places to stay in Copenhagen. The best hotels in Ørestad & Bella Center, ranked · Where to stay in Copenhagen

Axel's take: 6.8/10

A practical short-stay base, but cramped rooms and summer heat limit its appeal. a no-frills 2-star hotel with cabin-sized rooms in Ørestad, scored for what it is.

CABINN Metro is a no-frills 2-star in Ørestad, better suited to a quick overnight than a leisurely Copenhagen break. Its strongest argument is convenience: Field’s shopping centre is next door, with Ørestad’s trains and metro within walking distance. It’s a sensible option for airport connections or Bella Center events. Recent Expedia guests often praise helpful staff, clean rooms and the breakfast buffet.

The cabin concept means genuinely tight bedrooms and tiny shower rooms; check the bed layout before booking, since some categories use bunks. Tripadvisor guests repeatedly flag hot rooms and limited ventilation, while noise and awkward automated check-in also recur. Cleanliness earns more praise than criticism overall, but isn’t uniformly reliable. Breakfast, parking and gym access cost extra. We’d skip it for a long stay, generous personal space or reliable warm-weather comfort.

  • Best for: budget-conscious airport stopovers; Bella Center event visitors; solo travelers packing light

  • Watch out for: very small rooms and bathrooms; hot rooms and limited ventilation; noise can disturb light sleepers

  • Location: By Field’s in Ørestad, with walkable rail and metro links; not a central sightseeing location.

  • Rooms: Compact, basic cabins with private showers and kettles; some categories have bunk beds.

  • Cleanliness: Generally satisfactory across aggregate ratings, though some recent guests report missed cleaning.

  • Service: Helpful staff receive regular praise; automated check-in can be frustrating.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, breakfast café, guest laundry and a paid fitness room; no full restaurant.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast, parking, gym access and laundry carry extra charges; parking cannot be reserved.
